The Origin Story
I was inspired to create TomorrowToday having worked in a charter school network and learning about some of the unique challenges educators and career program managers face. I too experienced first-hand the time-consuming manual tasks that hindered my ability to provide an optimal experience to their students.
One day, I had a conversation with a close friend, a high school teacher and internship program coordinator, overwhelmed by the demands of her school’s career readiness program. She expressed frustration with the same administrative burdens that hindered her ability to provide diverse, personalized support & guidance to all her students. I knew I had to find a solution!
Why? Her story resonated deeply, echoing my educational journey as a child of immigrant parents. They entrusted the education system to steer me toward a meaningful career path. However, the reality was that overburdened counselors simply couldn’t provide the personalized support needed. While I managed to carve out my path, I recognize that not all students have the means or the drive to take such initiatives on their own.
My career has been built on growing and scaling tech start-ups in various industries, sharpening my skills in streamlining operations and upgrading customer experiences. Driven by a passion for innovation and its potential for impact, I was drawn to the education sector. There, I saw how my experience could help improve student experience and increase outcomes, especially for students in underserved communities.
